MHS_FMF.pngStudent Surveys

At Minarets, we survey our students, just like they do in college classes. Except we go one better; in college you only get to speak out and share AT THE END of a class. We think that wastes a semester. Why not get better right now?

We also participated in nationwide surveys, such as the Netday Speakup survey on student feelings about technology, their lives and school.

Here are the results of some of our 08/09 Surveys.....

MINARETS STUDENTS AND PARENTS SPEAK OUT ON A GREAT FIRST YEAR
In a year-end survey, Minarets High School 9th graders rated the first year in a variety of areas. Here are some of the results:

81% rated their own personal growth as a 1 or a 2 on a scale of 1 – 5 with 1 being outstanding.

96% rated the school as being a 1 or a 2 on a scale of 1 – 5 with 1 being very successful.

100% rated their treatment from the staff as a 1 or a 2 on a scale of 1 – 5 with 1 being outstanding.

95% rated their opportunities this year as a 1 or a 2 on a scale of 1 - 5 with 1 being outstanding.

100% rated their experience to what they thought other 9th graders were experiencing a 1 or a 2 on a scale of 1 – 5 with 1 being Far Better.

Over half, 57%, said that their math skills improved this year from last year either a great deal or quite a bit.

86% said that their language skills improved this year from last year either a great deal or quite a bit.
