MINARETS HIGH SCHOOL
CO-CURRICULAR ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Participation in extra/co-curricular activities is a privilege extended to all students,
not a right, and the school has the authority to revoke this privilege. It is our belief that
students who adhere to a code of conduct and academic requirements will benefit in
both character and physical performance.

MAINTAINING SATISFACTORY EDUCATIONAL PROGRESS

Students must maintain a cumulative 2.0 average in all classes and have no F's in any
subject to be eligibility for extra and co-curricular activities at Minarets High School.
Grades are checked on a two-week basis throughout the year. If the above
requirements are not met at the end of any two-week period, the athlete is put on
probation for the following two weeks but can continue to practice and play in games. If
at the end of the probation period and the requirements are still not met, the athlete will
be on a two week suspension from all extra and co-curricular activities. At the conclusion
of the suspension or any subsequent failure to meet the standards, the athlete will be
dismissed from the team.
